About Me

I’m not a jack of all online marketing trades, there’s more to know just inside of SEO than one can every comprehend.

Some of My Skills

One of the hardest to master parts of SEO has been understanding how large websites like e-commerce sites need to be laid out content wise, theme wise, URL structure and user and bot flow for optimal exposure and user friendliness. I’ve been testing, studying, teaching and executing at a high level for the past 5 years.

Getting a website to rank in search engines is always a priority in my business and for those, I work for but being able to understand a visitors mindset for multiple devices, emotional states, where they are in the research to purchase funnel is just as important. As a site with traffic is worth nothing if no one makes a purchase or picks up the phone to call. I’ve spent the last 2 years building my knowledge in this area and have helped many clients double the number of sales they receive from the same amount of traffic.

As of 2016, I turned my online strategies to more traditional in-house out reach link building.  Developed a team of 30 bloggers to understand the market we are working in and becoming more of a publicist than manual link builder. This has enabled us to use very safe and extremely power methods of building link profiles that last through every algorithmic change.

Who Am I?

I have taught at 6 different live events in different areas of SEO. Most notable is my work with Kotton Grammer and paid events up to 900 people and over 300 webinars in the past 4 years providing start-up SEO’s with the technical background to meet their client’s demands or their own projects.

Being able to balance a family of 2 children and a wife and support team of 30 to work with over 100 clients over the past 10 years with multiple agencies working with local hair salons and chiropractors to Bio E-Commerce and campaigns for Coca-cola.

Being branded as one of the most technically knowledgeable SEO’s around and currently 145 Linkedin Recommendations

Whats My Fuel?

I often get asked why I decided to venture into SEO as a business service or career path. It took me a few years to figure out why I was attracted to it to be honest. Most would say it’s a good life to work balance, or freedom to work from where ever you want or because it’s lucrative which it can be. However, those have always just been results and benefits but never the fuel behind my fire.

It really comes back to the emotion I felt after I had one of my first clients, a local tree service company. It wasn’t anything special just your average family tree and stump removal company that could barely scrape together each month to pay me $500 a month for marketing services. They barely knew me and came to me through a friend but were willing to try anything as they were getting swallowed up by larger franchise companies.

I went to work while just learning my craft at the same time made me nervous at the same time, but I had to prove to myself and them that their business was safe in my hands.  The first few months I had to educate myself on the ins and outs of their market and through setbacks of some early algorithm changes I accomplished what I set out to do.

I took that small business from one work truck to a fleet of 6 trucks and turned the life of their business from near bankruptcy to a million a year business.

It’s not nearly the most successful business I’ve worked with over the years but one of the best transformations I’ve done.

Ever since then, it’s that high and emotional state I’ve chased, to be able to make that much of a difference in a someone’s life has cultivated the reasoning behind what I do.
